In news that not only made my day but will make my summer, Matthew Sweet will be playing outdoors in downtown Des Moines June 18. This comes only days after Snow Patrol and Coldplay. Man, if McCartney returned that same week and Jellyfish reunited, that would be Too Poppy Perfection!

Tickets for Simon Estes Amphitheater's Nitefall on the River go on sale May 8 for only $12. $12 for Matthew Sweet?! Am I in college again? Or heaven?
