Hey, Kids, Rock n Roll

R.E.M. LiveIt seems unfathomable to me that R.E.M. has yet to release a full-fledged live album in their long, storied career until now - well, October 16 to be more specific. They must have thought long and hard to come up with the name: R.E.M. Live. The tracklist (below) seems to be a bit too heavy with tracks from Around the Sun, their least satisfying album I've ever heard. But, it was recorded during that tour so it's to be expected. I've never been a big live album fan, but if you've seen them (as I did on their Monster tour - great!) and are an R.E.M. completist, there you go.

"I Took Your Name"
"So Fast, So Numb"
"Boy in the Well"
"Cuyahoga"
"Everybody Hurts"
"Electron Blue"
"Bad Day"
"The Ascent of Man"
"Great Beyond"
"Leaving New York"
"Orange Crush"
"I Wanted To Be Wrong"
"Final Straw"
"Imitation of Life"
"The One I Love"
"Walk Unafraid"
"Losing My Religion"
"What's the Frequency, Kenneth?"
"Drive"
"(Don't Go Back To) Rockville"
"I'm Gonna DJ"
"Man on the Moon"
