Wouldn't You Like To Be A Pepper Too

In what I could only describe as bizarre, the Dr. Pepper soft drink company today announced that they would give everyone in America a free soft drink if Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" album is released sometime this year.

In case you didn't know (or more likely didn't care), Chinese Democracy is the long-awaited (really?) album since 1991's Use Your Illusion II. Axl Rose, the only remaining original member, has purportedly spent over $13 million and years working on the album. It was most recently scheduled for a March 2007 release.

I'll take the free drink, but seriously doubt I'll purchase the album. Unless it has an updated version of Welcome To The Jungle. That song rocks.

I was being sarcastic. Everyone knows it's their version of Live & Let Die that rules.
