Speed On
One of my greater regrets in my music life was missing the Guided by Voices show for some reason. Can't remember why. That makes it even more aggravating. Their last show at Chicago's Metro is being released via DVD. I guess now I can experience a bit more than simply living vicariously through my friends who saw GBV without me.

GBV at Gabe's in IA City was a wonderful, crazy time. The boys played for four hours and drank the entire time. I can't 'member why you weren't there. I wonder if the DVD will capture the passing of Js, a way-too-drunk girl bouncing off people and falling down, bouncers taking somebody out with force, and blood on my jeans. I really don't know how that happened.
