And so it goes Joe Pernice was informed of an invitation to play Carnegie Hall (!!) October 10 as part of a tribute to Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Each artist invited (a list that includes Brendan Benson, Aimee Mann, Roger McGuinn, and others) will play one song and it appears Pernice Brothers have chosen Daniel. Excellent. One would hope some kind of broadcast or release of these performances will occur.
