Stereogum is a big tease! With a headline like Kevin Shields Promises One More Great MBV Record, we shoegazer fans tend to get our hopes up. Reading the post, though, we find out that Shields merely mentioned his desire to make another My Bloody Valentine record before he dies. In other words, nothing is imminent. Well, thanks for nothing.

Loveless is a phenomenal album. No other group comes close to that mix of noise and melody that makes MBV so genius (although Chapterhouse has always been criminally underrated).
